Meet your guide to a crush-worthy life
Embarking on a new chapter of life, I am exuberantly exploring a world where I transitioned from teaching for over two decades to a new career in instructional design and a recent move from Northern California to the Gulf Coast of Florida. Two kids on the launching pad, a wonderful husband by my side, and a life I am still discovering.
Pickleball, paddleboarding, boating, fishing, mah-jong, wine tasting, pilates, and coffee shops. And then, somewhere in the middle of all of it, I started writing again.
Crush & Co. is where that writing comes to life. Travel, food, wellness, beauty, aging parents, friends and everything worth crushing on in this beautiful, complicated, wonderful chapter of life.

How Crush & Co. Came to Life
Quite a few years ago, I turned my hobby of writing into a personal blog called “Life is an Adventure.” That went dormant as life happened, as it so often does.
Then, when my youngest daughter headed out of state for college, I decided to change careers and spent that year enrolled in an Instructional Design program. Once I earned my certifications, I made the leap, leaving 25 years of teaching behind to start a whole new chapter in a whole new career field.
Shortly after that, during our adventures in travel, we discovered the Gulf Coast and fell completely in love. We became part-timers, living between Florida and California, until we made the ultimate move to Florida full time.
And in this new season of life, I reinvented my blog into Crush & Co. Being able to write and share the new things I am discovering, as well as writing about the things so many of us in this season of life deeply care about, is my greatest joy. Hopefully it resonates with you too.
